COVID-19 Procedures and Policy

In order to protect ourselves and our community we have instituted the following changes to our physical space and our procedures. These are subject to change as recommendations from the CDC and the SFDPH change.

Our gym and waiting room are now re-organized to accommodate social distancing “zones.”

We are staggering our appointment times to allow for greater ease in social distancing.

We are wiping down all chairs and equipment after every use.

We are screening all employees and patients daily in accordance with recommendations of the San Francisco Department of Public Health. We will require all patients and anyone accompanying them to be wearing a facemask when they enter, and while they are in the building. Our therapists will be wearing either KN95 or N95 masks.

This daily screening includes:

  • A symptom & COVID-19 exposure questionnaire
  • A non-contact temperature check after you enter the building

Any employee or patient who answers yes to any questions on the list or has a fever will not be allowed to come to or stay in our facility. Anyone who comes with you -a spouse or friend, etc- will be subject to the same screening and temperature check if she/he is coming in the building.

Additionally, we will be asking patients to not attend in-person appointments for 14 days after air travel.

We are also happy to serve you using Telehealth at all times.

We are working to facilitate airflow:

  • By leaving windows open in our private treatment rooms and the bathroom
  • By having air purifiers running in all rooms, including at least 2 in our gym
  • By periodically opening the back door

Treatment rooms: In between patient appointments our therapists will be wiping down:

  • Treatment tables
  • Patient chairs
  • Stools
  • Computer keyboards, etc.

Therapists will be handwashing and changing:

  • Gloves
  • Pillowcases and sheets
  • Labcoats

Even with following all screening procedures, we cannot guarantee that all who enter are virus-free. We can stay committed to our procedures to create the most people-friendly, virus-unfriendly environment possible. Thank you for your help with this!
